Behind the Scenes: Ethan's Tale of Patience, Learning, and Joy! 🐾

Welcome back readers! Today’s blog will be on what I learned and think about working at a vet clinic. So sit down and relax, it’s gonna be good!

As I said in my first post, I’m 16 and this is my first job. I think I have learned a lot working here! One example is patience. I have ADHD, and being still is hard for me. Holding the dogs teaches me that sometimes, patience pays off.Ā

Considering that this is my first experience working, I find myself very lucky. I could’ve been bagging groceries at Publix like my mom suggested, but with the help of Mike and Hands On Education, I got here instead. And it’s amazing! I’d take this any day over grocery bagging. I’m even going to take a Vet Tech class in HCC Dual Enrollment when I can.

A task I recently saw happen was an boxer’s ultrasound and cysto for a urine sample. I got to move the wand thing around and look at her, which was real cool!Ā

Lastly, blogs will become more common, as I’m going to start working on Wednesday as well. So hang around, and you won’t be disappointed!
